Yesterday, we met with some folks from Partners, and ended up traveling with them up to a children's home in the mountains outside the city. It was a great experience--more to come on that a bit later today.

Chiang Mai
We are in Chiang Mai, and so far it has been incredible. It's much larger than it was when Josh was here 9 years ago, and much has changed. It's very busy, and getting around is pretty crazy. There doesn't seem to be much incentive to follow any traffic rules, so drivers and pedestrians alike have to be pretty quick to jump out of the way.
The first evening we arrived, we went to the night market. It's huge, and streets are lined with hundreds of vendors selling everything imaginable. Here's a short clip from our first moments there--note the Burger King sign in the background--American food is very fancy/expensive (about ten times more than Thai street food) here. :)
